Watch The Final Episode Of The ‘Obey Your Thirst’ Documentary Made By TheFader and Sprite: Isaiah Rashad
In this final episode TheFader & Sprite bring you Isaiah Rashad from Chattanooga, Tennessee. His thing is about following what he loves because he believes that he can go far with music and also remembering where he comes from.
What Isaiah does is all grounded in love and service to his family that helped prep him for success when he started on his journey. From the video you can tell that the path he’s going down isn’t to s*** on anyone, make a quick buck or bring anybody down — it’s actually to pass on the message his mum gave him through his own work:
“You can do anything you put your mind to. I just wish you knew it more, wish you wouldn’t question yourself.”
The way Isaiah was brought up being empowered & getting told he could do it so he gives value to the people around him by empowering them to find themselves instead of holding back their real personality because that’s not ‘cool’. And he’s right. If you find being cool more important than being yourself…then who are you?
He made a cool person know it’s OK to be a weirdo. He’s super weird, so he let me know it’s okay to spread your wings and be weird.
Living in a world where you can be an individual, accept what you love and make it your business to serve others through that is a pretty awesome gift you can all use. Enjoy the episode above.
