INSA Creates the World’s Largest Animated Painting in Brazil

by on January 29, 2015

Check this guy out! The London based artist INSA has recently been at work creating the world’s largest animated painting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the help of some satellite photos and a load of people who contributed to painting a image large enough to be clearly visible from space. The project was taken out over four days in which a surface of 14,379m2 was painted four times under INSA’s instruction, to be ready for the satellite to pass overhead and capture an image  at a scheduled time each day.

The extremely creative, ambitious and evidently giant artwork is simply epic. Watch it being created and see the final result in the film above.
